Farina Tahir, MS, LPC-A

Hi there! My name is Farina Tahir, and I firmly believe that connecting with others and with oneself is where profound change occurs. I have a great passion for unifying and strengthening relationships within families. ​ I recently completed my Master’s in Counseling at Southern Methodist University under the direct supervision of Dr. Rebecca Welsh, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S. I’ve received specialized training working with children, parents, and groups and received my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Child Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Dallas, and have worked in the service industry for over ten years. Finding the blocks in one’s life and discovering constructive ways to heal can lead to deeper connections and healthier relationships. When I’m not working, I can be found surrounded by my cats deeply immersed in a novel, or tending to my exotic plant collection.
