Hello there! My name is Jessica John and I am excited to be a part of such an awesome team! I am passionate about seeing individuals become all that God created them to be. Currently, I work as a NICU social worker and provide emotional support for mamas (and some dads) during their NICU journey. I completed my Master’s in Social Work at Texas A&M Commerce and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Life is often like a rollercoaster with all the ups and downs that take place. Sometimes it’s hard for adolescents to process what is going on internally and they don’t always know how to communicate with their family or loved ones. Through the therapeutic process, we can identify negative thought patterns, deep rooted beliefs, anxiety triggers, lack of identity or confidence, and walk through other common life stressors. My therapeutic approaches are strengths-based and collaborative with integration of cognitive behavioral therapy. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment by providing a kind, empathic, non-judgmental space for you (or your child) to share your story. I am continually humbled that I get to be a part of such a transformative time in individuals’ lives on their own personal journey towards healing and freedom! When I am not working, I’m usually hanging with my family, playing fetch with my fur baby Milo, listening to a good podcast, or jamming out on the piano.
