Dr. Becki Welsh is the founder of 316 Counseling Center, established in 2010 to provide faith-integrated, trauma-informed care for children and families. With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and nearly 15 years as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), she is known for her expertise in play therapy and parent-child connection. Dr. Welsh serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Family Studies at Liberty University, where she trains future counselors to integrate clinical excellence with biblical truth. She is the developer of the Needs-Connection Modelâ„¢ and co-author of StoryBinder, a healing curriculum that guides individuals in reclaiming their identity through story, relationship, and Christ. A devoted follower of Jesus, Becki is a proud mother of two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and grandmother to Chloe. She lives near Lynchburg, Virginia, with her two labradoodles, Levi and Haven.
